There are many pictures the Bible draws when God describes His church.  We have been called branches, an army, a body, a family.  The one thing God never calls us is ALONE!  The believer who is not connected with other Christ-followers cannot function healthily.  There are too many distractions, too many temptations, and just too little time in our busy week to stay focused on God when we operate apart from a group of interconnected believers. 
 
God designed us to live interconnected lives with each other.  The best way to do this is to join a small group of folks who meet regularly to worship God, grow in faith, and enjoy some fellowship.  In the coming weeks as we unveil our new groups that start in September.  We encourage you to seriously consider stepping out and joining one of these groups. Everyone needs friendship and encouragement; why don’t you try out a new way to experience community this Fall at IBC.
